Personal data

Privacy Policy

ThinkTankers is committed to respecting the confidentiality of information shared by visitors to its website. This page explains what personal data may be processed, why, and how you can exercise your rights.

1. Information you share with us

When you use our contact form, we receive the information you provide, including your name, email address, the subject of your enquiry and your message.

We use this information to review and respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to discuss a potential project. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in handling enquiries or, where you request steps towards working together, taking those steps before entering into an agreement. You are not required to contact us, but we cannot respond without the necessary contact details.

2. ThinkTankers free tools

Our free tools can be used without registering or creating an account. They do not retain the information you enter or a history of your use.

This is separate from any technical connection data generated when you access the website, as explained below.

3. Website use, hosting and security

The website is hosted in the United Kingdom. As with other websites, technical connection details (such as IP addresses, access dates and times, and browser information) may be logged by the hosting provider or services needed to operate the site, particularly for security and troubleshooting.

Cookies strictly necessary for the website to function may be used. Any non-essential service, including analytics, must be accompanied by appropriate information and, where legally required, your consent.

4. Access to information and retention

Messages are accessible to those responsible for handling them and, where necessary, technical service providers involved in operating the website. They are not used to build commercial profiles.

Messages are retained only for as long as needed to handle and follow up on enquiries, then deleted when no longer necessary, subject to any legal retention requirements. Technical data are subject to the retention periods applied by the relevant services.

5. Your rights and questions

Depending on the applicable law, you may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, ask for restrictions on processing, object to certain uses, and exercise other rights provided by law.

To exercise your rights or ask a question, please use our Contact page. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority.
